Who We Are
The Humanity Support Organization (HSO) is non-profit, non-governmental humanitarian and development organization with its Headquarter in Mogadishu and have sub-offices across south central Somalia, HSO was initiated in December 2000, HSO is among the major humanitarian organization operating in Somalia, providing Humanitarian, relief and development services since 2000. HSO is one of the largest NGOs in the country, with a significant presence across South Central Somalia, Puntland, and Galmudug.

Emergency Response
HSO provides integrated emergency support to families displaced by conflict, including providing access to healthcare, food, and essential household items.
Drought Response
HSO scales up assistance to families affected by severe drought, including distributing emergency aid and promoting community resilience.
Rehabilitation of Water Facilities
They rehabilitate boreholes and water systems to improve access to clean water for displaced populations and host communities.
Cash Assistance
HSO provides cash assistance to displaced families to enable them to meet their basic needs.
Digitalization of VSLA groups
HSO is digitizing savings and loan groups using the funded by the Donor, to improve financial management and transparency.
Referral Systems
HSO has established referral systems to connect vulnerable individuals with appropriate medical and other support services.
